Transport tambour (gateway-tambour) is a metal structure, placed outside the warehouse. It consists of a remote farm, which set the dock-leveler platform (platform is not included) and the frame of the gateway-tambour.
Gateway-tambours save warehouse space and protect cargo from temperature changes.
The frame of the gateway-tambour is sheathed with profiled or sandwich panel. Gateway-tambours are adjacent to the wall at angles of 30, 45, 60 and 90 degrees. To remove rain and water, the roof of the vestibule is made under a slope of 5 degrees. The dimensions of the gateway-tambour depend on the dimensions of the dock-leveler and the dock-shelter.
